The CMCA(UK) Procurement Department is proud to announce their unique approach to procurement, designed specifically to cater to their customers’ needs. By implementing a lean-agile process, the department continuously adapts to provide the most effective and efficient procurement service.
The department’s in-house bespoke systems give them full flexibility, enabling them to work smarter. Their three individual divisions; Sales, Buying, and Stores, are led by an experienced team dedicated to delivering excellence.
The Sales Team is formed by Aga, June, Alisha and Bozena, who facilitate all enquires and apply a wealth of NATO stock number and true source supply knowledge to the business.
The Buying Team consists of Darren and Julie, who both work directly with supply chains and who’s experience ensures cost efficient, timely and accurate deliveries.
The Stores Team includes James, Anna, and Sean who support supply chain logistics and expedite receipt, onsite inspection, and timely despatch of requirements.
Thomas Meacham, took over responsibility for the department at the start of 2023; “I am incredibly excited to be part of the team and the future of CMCA(UK) Procurement, we operate the department the same way we manage our supply chains, by having a huge focus on communication. Lean-Agile procurement with an emphasis on communication is a winning formula to achieve value both for our customers and supply chains. I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2023 brings.”
Special recognition must be given to the CMCA(UK) finance department Pippa and Mary, without whom the department could not operate efficiently.
