When an item is identified as obsolete our specialist team at CMCA(UK) will:

• Liaise to see if continued production can be secured
• Investigate alternative items (F3i – Fit Form & Function Interface)
• Investigate substitute items
• Establish if a one-off Life-Time-Buy is possible
• Investigate possible Aftersales Market Sources
• Liaise with OEM to secure manufacturing data to enable reverse engineering
• Trawl the Grey Market to find stocks. The results of these actions are included within a comprehensive “Obsolete Component Mitigation Report”
