This is an engaging and critical role for someone with a strong technical mindset who thrives on precision, working with detailed information, and data accuracy.

While previous experience in NATO Codification is ideal, full training will be provided for the right technically minded candidate. What matters most is your ability to interpret technical data, your attention to detail, and your desire to learn.
What will you be doing?
Working as part of our specialised NATO Codification team, you will catalogue, codify and manage item information to ensure seamless support for the UK MoD and our wider customer base.
Your responsibilities will include:
-
Researching and technical identification of equipment, spares and components using engineering drawings, manufacturer data and industry standards.
-
Assigning correct NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs) and establishing item identification data in line with national codification procedures.
-
Maintaining accurate, high-quality data entries within specialist codification systems.
-
Liaising with contractors, manufacturers and external stakeholders to gather missing technical information and clarify item specifications.
-
Reviewing, updating and maintaining existing NATO Codification records to reflect product changes or technical modifications.
-
Ensuring all codification outputs strictly adhere to internal quality control standards and agreed turnaround times.
-
Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the wider Codification Department.

· Is organised, comfortable following defined processes, and keen to learn and develop specialist knowledge
