CMCA(UK) are delighted to announce that Mr Graham Goring of Thales Corporate Services, is the lucky winner of the iPad competition we held as the Principal Sponsor’s at the 2013 COG Conference and Exhibition in York. If Graham would like to put in place an Obsolescence Management Plan to support his new toy then CMCA will be happy to talk to him!
The draw was made by Mr Michael Allen (pictured left), Chief Executive of the CMCA(UK) sponsored ‘Be Who You Can Be’ Charity from their headquarters in the West Midlands. The Charity’s aim is to help individuals recognise and release their true potential, working with the disadvantaged and those suffering mental health issues. On being asked to hold the draw Michael say’s;
“CMCA(UK) were the first company to sponsor the charity and as a result 13 people were helped to transform their lives. CMCA(UK) have continued to support the charity helping those who are less fortunate to move on with their lives, the company is active both in the business world and its support for the community. We were therefore honoured to be asked to participate as an independent adjudicator for CMCA(UK) for their prize draw for an iPad from the recent biennial COG conference.”
On being notified of his win, Graham commented, “This is the first time I have won anything related to work, thank you all at CMCA. I don’t have my own ‘mobile computer’ so this is going to be very useful!”. After picking up the Special Recognition Award for Services to Obsolescence Management, this rounds off a good week for Graham. Congratulations!
