In September 2015 the International Standards Organisation released the updated version of ISO9001. The change to the standard being a significant one, reflecting the evolution of business all around the world, addressing Leadership, Risk, Opportunity and truly making Quality every bodies business. Evolving so that it now followed the same Annexe SL framework as other standards it now allows for an integral approach to Management Systems.
Meanwhile in September 2015, CMCA (UK) also made a fairly radical change of its own. Following a detailed Strategy review it was agreed that as we have grown significantly over the last few years we now needed to evolve and to redefine our operating structure to relate to future development needs. Therefore, we have been establishing an Inputs / Outputs approach which relates not only to our own aspirations but also integrates with the new requirements of ISO9001.
There could not have been a better time to evolve and improve.
In the last twelve months we have redefined our operating structure, created a Board of Directors which supports Customer Focus, provides a Leadership based culture whilst continuing to achieve and maintain our defined Quality Objectives. We are therefore very proud to announce that after all of our hard work over the past 12-18 months, and after a detailed assessment/recertification visit by AFNOR, not only did we retain our ISO9001 status we have been recommended for transition to the ISO9001:2015 standard.
A big thank you to our new Board for taking us on this journey and very big thank you to all staff, without your involvement and acceptance it would not have been possible to achieve this significant milestone
