- Investigate alternative items (F3I)
- Investigate substitute items
- Establish if a one-off Life-Time-Buy is possible
- Investigate possible Aftersales Market Sources
- Liaise with OEM to secure manufacturing data to enable reverse engineering
- Trawl the Grey Market to find stocks
The results of these actions are transferred into a comprehensive “Obsolete Component Mitigation Report”
