TRL Technology (L3 Communications) chose CMCA(UK) to carry out an urgent 'Health Check' on a piece of equipment. This health check was necessary to give TRL a 'heads-up' of any obsolescence issues that may affect the equipment's future support. The urgent report was completed on time, within a two week deadline.

CMCA(UK) chosen by BAE Systems for AS90 component monitoring.
CMCA(UK) are excited to announce that following a rigorous tendering process we have been down selected by AS90 Joint Project Team (AS90 JPT) to conduct Component Monitoring on critical materiel used in the AS90 Self Propelled Howitzer. CMCA(UK) are confident that this project will ultimately lead to the monitoring of components for other Land Systems.
CMCA(UK) chosen by Aviation Training International Limited for component monitoring.
ATIL are contract by the UK MoD to provide Training Services to support the British Army's Apache AH Mk1 Attack Helicopter. In delivering this, they employ state-of-the-art flight simulators and actual equipments which must be available to meet their customers training requirements. In order to support this they have decided to use CMCA(UK) to monitor critical parts for impending obsolescence, thus permitting time to react to potential problems prior to causing equipment down time.

NATO CODIFICATION. With the winning of a new 3 year contract for NATO Codification Services, we have expanded our Codification Department with the addition of 2 new members of staff. They bring with them a wealth of experience and abilities to broaden the capability of the department and assist with the significant increase in input and allow the Team to continue to meet and exceed the demands of our customer, UKNCB in Glasgow. Further expansion is inevitable with the increase in direct and indirect codification business.
ISO 9001:2000. CMCA(UK) has received a fault-free re-accreditation to BSEN ISO9001:2000 for the scope of 'Spares Procurement, NATO Codification, Obsolescence Management and Associated Products'. As the Quality System underpins our entire work process and standards, we are pleased to be able to say we continue to provide Top Quality to our customers!
EXOSTAR. CMCA(UK) has been successful in becoming a Registered Member of the EXOSTAR supplier community. This membership facilitates the placing and response to requests for Information, Pricing or actual placing of orders and contracts with other EXOSTAR buyer members currently typically represented by BAE Systems, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Rolls Royce. We look forward to full participation in this new opportunity for business.
CMCA(UK) are pleased to announce that we have been contracted by Goodrich Surveillance & Reconnaissance Systems UK to supply Obsolescence Services.
CMCA(UK) recently supplied a department of BAE Systems with a combined populated Obsolescence and Pricing system that enables the production of customer specific priced catalogues along with assembly Obsolescence Reports.

CMCA(UK) WIN NATO CODIFICATION CONTRACT. We are pleased to announce that CMCA(UK) have once again been successful in competing for and winning a contract for NATO Codification. The contract is for three years duration and was won in the face of some major competition. This success is historically important to us as the Company was established in 1997 to compete and were successful in winning this prestigious contract. We look forward to continuing to work with our friends and colleagues at TES TIG UKNCB in Glasgow in meeting and exceeding their stringent expectations!

We recently delivered a fully bespoke version of COMPaSS to the Submarines business of Rolls-Royce Marine Power. The Principal Engineer in charge of the Project states:
“COMPaSS is an integral part of, and underpins, our current and future obsolescence management strategy and processes. The Go-Live version of the tool has now been delivered and is excellent, offering features well beyond that of other tools available, despite being developed to very tight (and challenging) timescales. The business now has an excellent, customised, tool to support its proactive obsolescence management activities and is looking forward to working with you on the wider contract.”

The UK MOD approached CMCA(UK) with a request to conduct an obsolescence study on the available spare parts for a naval vessel earmarked for disposal. Following intensive investigation and research, and at the request of the Disposal Services Agency, we presented the findings of our report directly to the officials of the foreign government department involved.
